Strictly Come Dressage
A Gala Evening in aid of Emile Faurie Foundation held at Oldencraig E.C.

6th December

This is our second year with 'Strictly Come Dressage' and we hope it will be an entertaining evening for all. Qualifying classes have been held though the afternoon with the finalists battling it out this evening for the overall 'Strictly' Champion! Winners from last year have been invited back through to this evening. The riders will be judged by our panel of judges who will score their marks out of 10 and give their comments. There are 2 sections: DANCE/MUSCIAL and THEATRICAL/FILM for the riders to choose from (hopefully the Judges will recognise who they are supposed to be!). There is a special award for the Best Costume of the evening also.

All proceeds from this evening go to the Emile Faurie Foundation. The Charity is now funding approx 2000 children throughout the UK to have lessons and helping to change many of these children's lives for the better. With projects in Scotland, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and London the FOundation is reaching many inner city children. It is difficult to keep the funding without your help and we hope tonight will help boost funds. Please take time to look at the notice boards which show some of the letters from the Children the Charity helps and visit the web site www.emilefauriefoundation.org.uk for updates. Anyone who has a fund raising idea or would hold a raffle at an event please contact the Foundation. Raffle Tickets are being sold throughout the evening for a Lydia Kierman Framed Limited Edition print kindly donated by the Artist Draw at end of performances. Also the DVD 'An Evening in July' will be on sale for only £5.00, all proceeds to the Foundation.
