Paul Hayler - Northallerton Equestrian Centre

On Friday the 5th of March Paul Hayler and his horses came to Northallerton Equestrian Centre, and from a thirteen year old boys view dressage isn’t my thing… but Paul was amazing and not just that but amused all of us.
Paul started by riding his young horse and showed us how to train a young horse and to do that we now know takes a lot of time and patience.
He then went onto his wife’s cob just to show that any horse can be competent and compete with a few tricks up your sleeve. After that he tormented Ian Brown by making him work very hard in front of over two hundred people. Then he went onto his more experienced horses and showed us how to work them from the ground and in the saddle, from the ground he showed us how to make horses piaffe by a small, harmless tap behind the leg. Overall I thought he was awesome.

in the elementary. Marco has been
very lightly competed and will soon move up
to medium level shortly, he has been in training with paul for about eighteen
months after breaking a leg |
